In late June, MNsure is scheduled to launch a new eligibility and enrollment platform designed to enhance the experience for consumers who are eligible for qualified health plans (QHPs). The upgrade will provide consumers with a streamline process, offering a single, integrated experience from account creation through plan enrollment.

Additionally, the new technology will deliver full-service support to clients through the MNsure portal, including creating accounts, submitting applications, uploading necessary verifications, reporting changes, correcting applications, opening special enrollment periods, viewing notices, and creating tickets.

All certified assisters will be required to use their portal accounts to assist their MNsure QHP consumers. The modernized system features a new portal that allows assister partners to work directly with consumers to apply, enroll and manage coverage. Brokers will be able to establish an online Agent of Record (AOR) for each QHP client, providing support through the MNsure portal, even for consumers who complete paper applications. This enhancement also grants assisters greater flexibility in managing their book of business.
